Meet Our Team

Todd Burgamy joined HRM in September 2022. Todd previously worked in the energy investment banking group of Piper Sandler & Co. and served as an investment professional for eight years in the energy private equity group at Kayne Anderson. During his time at Kayne, Todd focused on identifying and evaluating upstream and midstream investment opportunities. Prior to joining Kayne in 2011, Todd was an analyst in the investment banking group of Simmons & Company, where he focused on upstream transactions. He received his BBA and MPA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Brett Hall joined HRM IV in 2025. He brings over 15 years of industry experience operating in multiple onshore U.S. basins. Prior to joining HRM, Brett held engineering and leadership positions with Crowheart Energy, Williams, PDC Energy, and SRC Energy, where he was responsible for reservoir engineering, asset development, and business development. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

L. Roger Hutson is the President/CEO of HRM Resources IV, LLC (HRM) which he founded for the acquisition and development of energy resources in North America. The company was formed in 2017 after the successful divestment of HRM Resources II, LLC. This is the 4th company Hutson has founded. The previous three, HRM Resources II, LLC, HRM Resources, LLC and Paladin Energy Partners, were grown and successfully divested of in 2017, 2011 and 2006 respectively.

Hutson’s involvements include Board Member, American Petroleum Institute, Director, Bayou Midstream, LLC; Board Member and Past Chair, Colorado Concern; Chairman of the board and co-chair of the capital campaign for SCL Health Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation; Commissioner, 18th Judicial Nominating Commission; and Colorado Combative Sports Commission.

Hutson has also served as Chair of the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, Chair of the Colorado School of Mines Board of Trustees, and Trustee of Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Hutson holds a BS in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines

Patrick McGraw joined HRM in September 2017. Prior to joining HRM, he spent 10 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corp. and held positions of increasing responsibility within its Rocky Mountain assets, most recently as Land Manager for the DJ Basin and Powder River Basin. Prior to Anadarko, McGraw worked as an independent landman, handling projects throughout the Rockies. He earned a BA from Colorado State University and a MBA from the University of Colorado, Denver.
